The canteen has gained level 1 accreditation in the Good Sports programme – many thanks to Kylie Freebody and Simone Karan for getting this programme off the ground. Please read the Level 1 Newsletter Good Sports and Malanda FC Healthy Snacks Letter to find out more info or talk to Simone and Kylie at the grounds.
As members of the Good Sports programme we need to nominate a club member/parent who has a Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate. Malanda Football Club does not sell alcohol at their home games so this would be a name only required. You would not need to oversee or take on any additional duties. If anyone in the club already has a RSA certificate and are happy with their name being put forward on behalf of the club could you please contact Simone or Kylie via email email@example.com or catch up with them on game day.
August is a busy month in the canteen for MFC. We are hosting 3 home games on 2nd, 16th and 30th August. We would appreciate help from the parents/carers or grandparents of all our players both in the canteen or to help set up/clean up fields. Please look out for your team’s rostered times and take part.
We have received new stock of supporter shirts, so we now have all sizes available again. Cost is $35/shirt. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to organise purchase or catch up with Kim Jones on the grounds.
We will be having a meeting at the Atherton grounds this Saturday at 2pm. All are welcome to attend. We will meet outside the canteen at 2pm and then head into the International Club. This is a great opportunity to find out what goes on behind the scenes and to get involved in the club and contribute new ideas, which are always welcome. Topics for discussion include the end of year break up, canteen, uniforms. If you have an item to add to the agenda then please email it in. We look forward to your input.
